In the 90’s, there were few artists as prolific as Perry Farrell. The man was everywhere, and his energy was nothing short of magnetic. After the magic of Jane’s Addiction, and the high had come down from the tumultuous 80’s, Farrell created a new sound.

Definitive Alternative rock band Porno for Pyros have announced their first tour in 25 years. The tour, dubbed the “Horns, Thorns En Halos Tour,” will kick off on October 13th in Los Angeles and will make stops in cities across the United States, including New York, Chicago, Nashville, and Dallas. The tour will conclude on December 10th in Las Vegas.

“We’re excited to be back on tour with Porno for Pyros,” said Perry Farrell. “This is going to be a great opportunity for us to celebrate our music and our fans.”

Porno for Pyros were formed in 1992 by Perry Farrell, Stephen Perkins, Peter DiStefano, and Martyn LeNoble. The band released their debut album, “Porno for Pyros,” in 1993. The album was a commercial success, reaching number two on the Billboard 200 chart and spawning the hit singles “Pets” and “Walkabout.”

The band released their second and final album, “Good God’s Urge,” in 1996. The album was not as successful as their debut, but it did spawn the hit singles “Fire Woman” and “A Million Miles Away.”

Porno for Pyros disbanded in 1998, but they have reunited several times since then, including for a one off-performance at Lollapalooza in 2022, thus igniting the fire.

The “Horns, Thorns En Halos Tour” is a chance for fans to see Porno for Pyros perform live for the first time in a quarter-century. The tour is sure to be a nostalgic trip for fans of the band, and it is a chance to see one of alternative rock’s most iconic bands perform live on stage.

Tickets for the “Horns, Thorns En Halos Tour” are on sale now. For more information, please visit the tour’s official website.

“We’re looking forward to bringing the noise on this tour,” said Stephen Perkins. “We’re going to be playing all of our classics, and we’re even going to be doing some new stuff.”
